I just did a Red River marathon. . . so I wanted to draw Yuri, the main character of the series. I love the beautiful costumes and jewelry; the story is set in the times of ancient egypt, in around the fertile cresent area. The series is by Chie Shinohara, and I think what it was published as in Japan was Sora wa Akai Kawa no Hotori. Anyway, it is a great series, go read it!
